Privacy Policy

Mintation is an internal tool. Our team and colleagues use it to manage orders, fulfillment and listings for the Etsy shops our company owns; it is not offered to other sellers. This policy explains what information Mintation("we") handles, why, and who to contact. It covers https://mintation.io and the Mintation dashboard.

Information we handle

• Team accounts: the name and email address of each team member who uses Mintation.
• Our Etsy shops, connected through Etsy sign-in (OAuth): shop name and ID, orders (receipts) and their items, listings, and the access tokens Etsy issues for each shop. We request only the permissions shops_r, transactions_r, transactions_w, listings_r and listings_w.
• Buyer details contained in our orders: the buyer's name, shipping address and the items ordered. We need these to print and ship the order.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser, time of request) kept for security.
• Fonts: our pages load the Figtree font from Google Fonts, so your browser sends its IP address to Google when it fetches the font.

We only connect shops our company owns, and we do not request permission to read buyer email addresses.

How we use it

• Import orders and send each one to a production partner for printing and shipping.
• Add tracking numbers to the Etsy orders and mark them as shipped.
• Create and update listings that our team prepares and approves in Mintation.
• Show our team sales, cost and margin reports for our shops.
• Handle reprints, refunds and buyer questions about their orders.

We do not use buyer data for advertising, marketing, profiling or any purpose other than fulfilling the order.

Who we share it with

• Production partners and shipping carriers: only the details needed to make and deliver a specific order (items, print files, buyer name and shipping address).
• Service providers that host and operate Mintation for us, under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We never sell or rent buyer data.

How long we keep it

We keep order and shop data as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle reprints or refunds, and meet accounting and legal obligations. When a shop is disconnected, or Etsy rejects its access tokens after access is revoked in the shop's Etsy account, we delete the tokens and stop reading data from that shop.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Access tokens are kept on our servers only, are never shown in the browser and are never shared with production partners. Only our team members can sign in to Mintation.

If you bought from one of our shops and want a copy, a correction or the deletion of your data, write to support@orysky.com.
